APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill 8-Ball World Qualifier's are held three times a year, following the conclusion of each session. Every tournament is an opportunity to qualify for the APA World Pool Championships held in Las Vegas, NV at the Westgate Hotel and Casino. The number of teams qualifying each year is based on our 8-Ball team count during the Spring Session preceding the World Championships.  Currently, we are qualifying three 8-Ball teams a year.  

To be eligible to compete in an 8-Ball World Qualifier, the team must earn their slot during regular session league play.  Teams winning Division Playoffs qualify for the 8-Ball Cities each session.  Teams must stay active the next session with at least a 50% roster (4 of the same members) to be eligible to compete in the 8-Ball Cities.

Summer, Fall and Session 8-Ball World Qualifiers

Qualified teams from the Summer Session battle it out in the Summer Session 8-Ball World Qualifier for the chance to win $6400.00 travel assistance per team and a spot in the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.

• First Place in the Tournament wins $6400.00 travel assistance per team for the qualifying team and a spot in the National Team Championships in Las Vegas.
• Second Place in the Tournament wins $800.00 for the Carolina Classic Invitational.
• 3rd and 4th Place teams receive six weeks free play or $240
